The JAMEI CHEN.SOFT collection was launched in 2000 as an extension of designer Jamei Chen’s discerning concepts on living aesthetics. Main products were developed around the motif of home living. Comfortable natural cotton, linen and cashmere are used on garments and textiles to convey the relaxed atmosphere of homey touch. High-quality lifestyle goods, home decors, utensils, fragrant candles and bedroom textiles, whether selected domestically or imported, are also presented at the store to communicate the aesthetics and assert the attitude in living.

Jikonka’s Japanese kanji is “而今禾”, created by the founders Hironobu NISHIKAWA and Kyoko Yoneda. “而今” means the present, and “禾” is the general term for grain, which is an indispensable symbol for people. The creation of “而今禾” is to convey the idea of “appreciating and living at present”.
